Marienplatz

The Marienplatz is beautifully festive, with the variety of vendors and the lights. When one needs a rest from the festivities!

Hugendubel am Marienplatz

Hugendubel is kind of kind of a synonym for a big bookstore with a very wide selection. There are Hugendubel bookstores in many cities in Germany. One of the biggest is Hugendubel at Marienplatz. You can comfortably sit there and read and browse through the books you are interested in. On the top floor there is a little cafe where - if you are lucky - you can get a window seat where while sipping a capuccino you can not only read but also look down on Marienplatz.
