It's 80s night-- oh what a night!

I have one word for you-- Thursday. The DJ spins 80s classics all night, and by classics I mean exactly what you dreamed for the perfect 80s playlist.

Dress in theme and be ready to dance, but just know that the cool kids don't show up until 11:30 or 12.

Also, if the front room gets too happy, peppy for you make your way to the darker back room for more rock and less dancing.

The crowd is friendly and not too handsy, which are two huge wins for me, but if dirty dancing is more your style, there is a cage, so feel free to let loose.

Cat Club

The Cat Club is everything but upscale: your feet will stick to the floor, don't you dare to order something else than beer or hard alcohol, the lines for the bathrooms sometimes go through the whole place. But what makes this all worth it is the people. The Cat Club is a microcosmos of San Francisco - Hell's Angels, Punks, Lesbians, people in suits, people dressed up as Madonna or Cindy Lauper. Everybody gets along, everybody has a good time, everybody parties wild.
Each night has a different theme with the 80s-night on every Thursday being the best night to come. If you miss Duran Duran, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Depeche mode, Madonna, Bon Jovi etc. this is the place to be. Be honest: when was the last time you heard Tiffany's "I think we are alone now"?
