Dangerous bikers

Munich is a biker's paradise. That's good and if you like cycling you should rent a bike and explore Munich on two wheels. But! For pedestrians the bikers are a nuisance in certain areas! So when you are walking or strolling watch out for bikers - many of them are very fast and some even use the sidewalks (which they are not allowed to use). Between Marienplatz and Odeonsplatz - part of the pedestrian zone - you should be very careful when you change from one side of the street to the other.
